Multiple times a week, the parking lot across from the church is full of volunteers and clients. Society of St Stephen is an outreach ministry with our church that provides food, clothing, and financial assistance to those in need in our neighboring communities. But these are more than just handouts, SoSS provides face to face moments for those hurting and broken in our world to catch a glimpse of Jesus. In Matthew 25, Jesus calls us to clothe the naked and feed the hungry. The volunteers at SoSS are doing that every week. Come and join them!

Generosity with our money. What is that? And why are we hesitant to give? Not just to church, but to our friends, and our neighbors, and those who cannot pay us back? We get talking' to get to the bottom of it!

Our time isn't ours to hoard. It's entrusted, part of the inheritance we manage, not an asset we own. In the Ephesians, Paul unpacks the heritage into which we live and what it looks like to live faithfully into that heritage.

As we dig into the back half of the book of Matthew, the question of works vs faith again comes up. While it feels like this is talked about all the time... IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT! How do we both hold that we are discipled towards greater works in Christ, but also understand that access to salvation and greater works in Christ always starts with faith! And, Chris, and Ryan lament a quick exit from the postseason.
