Our greatest call as followers of Christ is to be disciples who make disciples.  Our greatest seed is our testimony and the testimony of the faithfulness of God in our lives and field is everywhere we go.  The call is not to efficiency of sowing, but to abundance.  How are you intentionally sowing seeds of faith in the situations God has put you in?

Psalm 1 tells us that blessing comes when we delight in the law of the Lord. But how do we do that? Delight isn't something we can just turn  on or off. Delight is an emotion that comes from experiencing something good. So how can I experience something good, how can I experience God through the law?

When we hear this passage preached, we normally think about tithing and the pastor telling us to give to the church. What we see in this text is that the issue is not about money at all, but about the posture of your heart. There may be no greater litmus test in our lives than the way we think about money.

Christian Fellowship is central to our identity as a follower of Christ. If we do not live in true Christian fellowship, then we cannot fully know God or his strength.  If your relationships are stuck at small talk, the call of Christ is true faith community found in biblical Christian Fellowship.

October is Stewardship month! Our stewardship emphasis this year comes from Ephesians, that we as believers are to be rooted and grounded in faith. Our call as a church is first and foremost to be a community of faith, but what does that even mean?

God has been stirring our hearts to love our neighbors all through the Bible. God is calling us to set something in motion as we love our neighbors.

In Luke 1, we learn from Zachariah’s encounter with Angel Gabriel how God meets us in our fears. We also see that He leads us through the moments that make us question God’s will and ways.

In the middle of our series, the Art of Neighboring, we see Biblical Faith requires humility.  Jesus calls us to put down the error of self-sufficiency.  The same is true for how we relate to our physical neighbors.

The ministry of Jesus is defined by how he responds to interruptions.  When we are in voluntary living contact with God, it changes interruptions from obstacles to opportunities.  How do you see God at work in the interruptions in your plan?
