In John 21, Peter sees Jesus on the shore and rushes to meet the savior. However, once on shore, Peter gets creative in avoiding Jesus, because of the shame he felt over how he had abandoned Jesus the night of the crucifixion. However, when Jesus confronts Peter, He doesn't shame, but redeems him. What burdens are you carrying that Jesus desires to redeem? Are you taking them right to the savior?
