Pursuing perfection is rooted in who God says we are and who he calls us to be. We are people who have lost our identity. How can we pursue our identity as God intends for his church to be?

Paul talks about how we’re to press onto perfection that Christ has possessed for us. What is this perfection that Paul calls us to pursue?

Why do I do things that I don't want to do, and often don't do things that I want to? As we finish our series "Reset My Heart," we begin to see that everything we do flows from the condition of our heart. When this wellspring of life gets contaminated, it begins to effect everything downstream.  

The first step to reseting our hearts is to surrender our it to the Lord. To give over every part of our heart to God, not just the parts we want to give Him. To intentionally open every broken part of our heart, mind, and soul to the one who restores broken things!

Life is filled with uncertainties and a future we cannot control. As we loosen our grip on this uncertain future, we begin to see how we can hold onto God. We begin to see that freedom and confidence flows from a trust in the father, not an assurance our our talents and ambitions.

Hello friends! As we continue to dive into Ecclesiastes, we find that it speaks to our deep rooted desire to find fulfillment in life. What gives us life? What do we focus on? How can we not step into things that we are already reminded are false?

Understanding Ecclesiastes is difficult. Today we examine the shape of the book as a whole and how the core of the book yearns for Jesus Christ.

One of the most familiar parables in scripture shows us a picture of life outside of the family of God.  How often do we settle for less when God has so much in store for us?  How often do we eat a meal with swine when there is a fattened calf awaiting us in the presence of God?

Throughout the whole Bible narrative, we see God's heart, and how much he VALUES us. This parable again reveals God's heart for us and the value that he places on it. Listen and hear to how the Lord is reminding you that you are precious, and that He values you.
