It's crawfish season! Today Chris and Kimberly talk about the Road to Emmaus. God opened their eyes to witness the risen savior, and he can open ours as well. We discuss how connecting to God's Word connects us to a power unmatched to anything in our physical world, and it's all available to us through the Bible. So find a group, boil some crawfish (with or without mushrooms), and talk about Jesus!

As we return to a familiar text in Luke 24, we see how Jesus gently encounters others and opens their eyes!

Kimberly Pellicore is the author of A Guide for Lewy Body Dementia Caregivers: Caring with Compassion.  Today we discuss the uncertainties that come with the diagnosis of Lewy Body and other dementia related diseases. Kimberly shares her journey through the caregiving process and how God’s light kept shining a guiding light for her to follow even when the chaos of the disease threatened to shut it out. No darkness on earth can expel God’s capacity to give live giving light, even in the darkest valleys of an incessant disease like dementia.

Why do you doubt? Is a question that seems to ring right through our heart. But the takeaway from this story shouldn't be  Peter's lack of faith. But that when we step boldly towards Jesus. He will step toward us as well.
